A pair of dance films featuring anthony morigerato
The Text and The Subtext are two short dance films sponsored by Operation: Tap and AM Dance Productions which feature the choreography and performance of Anthony Morigerato, a New York-based tap dancer, teacher, and choreographer. Anthony's work has been seen on stages across the US and abroad, while also appearing regularly on So You Think You Can Dance (FOX).
The Text (2015) features Anthony alongside fellow tap star Ayodele Casel in an homage to the old dance films of Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers. Its 2018 follow-up The Subtext is a solo effort with a more somber aesthetic.
